Founded in 1975, Community Living Fort Frances and District is a non-profit, charitable organization that provides support to individuals who have a developmental disability.
Community living is the full integration of people with developmental disabilities into their communities as valued citizens. For over 40 years we have been a source of support for individuals searching for accessible and meaningful ways to live in a state of dignity and respect in the community.
We support individuals to:
- Live in their homes
- Participate in their community
- Assume valued roles in our community
- Develop work skills and find jobs in the community
- Pursue their interests, goals and dreams
- Experience social, recreational, cultural, and educational opportunities.
We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of people we support, family members and concerned members of the community.
Community Living Fort Frances and District receives funding from the Ministry of Community and Social Services, and also accepts donations |
